Inductoheat Ships CrankPro® Induction Hardening Machines

October 28th, 2008- Inductoheat, Inc. ships two CrankPro systems to a leading supplier of automobile engine crankshafts. The CrankPro induction hardening and tempering system utilizes advanced SHarP-C™ technology, which eliminates the rotation of the crankshaft and movement of the inductor during heating and quenching cycles. This equipment provides several practical benefits; modular construction, simple operation, superior reliability, improved tool life and low part distortion. CrankPro systems can harden up to 7.0liter crankshafts, parts weighing 100lbs and produce up to 70 parts per hour. Inductoheat will ship three additional CrankPro systems in the forth quarter of 2008 and one more in the first quarter of 2009. Contact Glen Desmier, gcd@inductoheat.com for any further questions regarding your crankshaft heat treat applications.
